How do you identify your primary photographic style?
Classic documentary style with wit and flare.
Do you charge for travel?
We love to travel and are available to shoot weddings anywhere on the planet. If you are getting married outside Utah, don't let that keep you from using Justin Hackworth Photography. We've shot weddings on both coasts and everywhere in between.For travel outside the area of Provo to Ogden and Park City, we charge a reasonable fee to cover travel expenses.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We have several packages availabe that allow clients to choose how long they would like us to be available, which include anywhere from two hours through a full day. We can also be available for any pre-wedding events as well, such as a rehearsal dinner or family gathering the day before
Do you have a media preference?
I've shot film for years, but am now shooting mostly digital. I'm always happy to accommodate clients that are interested in having me shoot film.
How many photographers do you work with?
Justin Hackworth is the main photographer but works with an assistant.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
We only book one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you are unable to make it to the event.
Yes, and we've never needed to rely on the replacement photographer.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfuntion?
Always.
What lighting situations do you have experience with?
We love natural light and try our best to use that when we can.
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
When we are shooting for the full day, we require that the wedding party provide a meal for the photographer and the assistant.
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
We break--very quickly--for dinner only if the wedding guests are eating as well. Otherwise, we're there the whole time.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Three weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Website.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
Once the wedding album is complete, we give our clients a CD containing low resolution images of everything that was shot and high resolution images of every image in the wedding album. This CD is theirs to keep.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
We love it when clients want to share their photos with others. Most of the time there is no charge for this, but we do require a photo credit for print publications.
Will the images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We are thrilled to offer wedding albms of the finest quality in the industry and is one of the things that set us apart from many other photographers. We use Cypress, Graphi Studio, and Finao.
When will I get the final book?
Once the order has been placed, each album company's turn-around time is different and ranges from three to eight weeks.
